HOW TO PROPERLY EXFOLIATE BEFORE YOUR SPRAY TAN
Good tans come to those that exfoliate! Exfoliating before a spray tan is crucial to ensure an even and long-lasting result. Proper exfoliation not only removes dead skin cells but creates a smooth canvas for the spray tan application.
TIMING: Exfoliating should be done the day before your spray tan appointment. This gives your skin time to recover from any potential irritation/redness that might occur immediately after and ensures that your skin is free from any product residue.
AVOID OIL-BASED SCRUBS: I don't want no (oil-based) scrubs... or whatever Destiny's Child said. Using an oil-based scrub will leave residue on the skin preventing the spray tan solution from adhering/developing properly. Oil-free sugar scrub available in studio.
EXFOLIATING MITT: Struggle to remove old spray tan/self tan? Our exfoliating mitt is designed to remove dead skin cells and stubborn tan residue revealing smoother, softer skin. Using regularly also helps minimize ingrown hairs, breakouts, and improves overall skin health. Available in studio.
